"...Their 2000 is tight and sophisticated when first poured; it could be the West Coast equivalent of a Graves, here giving a sense of gravel and sagebrush. It feels narrow in scope, yet satisfying and generous. Tasted a day later, the wine has developed the beauty of its form with air, the flavor luscious as a fresh plum, the texture elegant. A lovely, gentle side of Napa cabernet, built for the cellar."
