2003 Juslyn Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain 93 points
Last December, I mistakenly indicated the 2003s had been bottled, but in fact they were not bottled until April, 2006. The deep ruby/purple-colored 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot) possesses an extra aromatic and flavor dimension as well as a beautiful, medium to full-bodied palate, well-integrated acidity, wood, alcohol, and tannin, and a pure, rich, broad, savory personality. It is a complete wine from a very good vintage for Napa Cabernet. Drink it over the next 12-15+ years

2003 Juslyn Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain Rating: 93 points
The impressive 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot) may equal, if not eclipse, the beautiful 2002 made from the estate vineyards. Dense purple to the rim with aromas of pure creme de cassis intermixed with hints of white flowers, vanilla, licorice, and crushed rocks, the wine is full-bodied, with terrific purity, a multi-layered mid-palate, and moderate tannin in the long finish. This lovely offering marries the elegance of a great European Cabernet-based wine with the power and savory ripe fruit of Napa. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2020+.

2003 Juslyn Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain Rating: (90-92) points
Sweet tannin, elegance, finesse, and delicacy characterize the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain Estate. It does not have the power, breadth, and overall force of the 2001 or 2002, but it offers more of its charming, feminine side than its two older siblings. Copious quantities of black currants, cherries, and flowers emerge from this lovely 2003 Cabernet. It should drink well young and evolve nicely for 10-12 years.
