2003 Juslyn Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard Select Rating: (90-92) points
The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard Select (70% from the To-Kalon Vineyard and 30% from the Dr. Crane site) possesses good elegance, depth, richness, and balance. While not as concentrated, powerful, or deep as the 2002 or 2001 Vineyard Select, it possesses more charm and finesse, and should drink well for 12-15 years.

2003 Juslyn Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard Select Rating: 91 points
The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard Select (100% Cabernet Sauvignon and, in this case, 70% from the Beckstoffer's To-Kalon Vineyard and 30% from Dr. Crane's Vineyard, two superb sites) has a dense purple color and a big, sweet nose of crushed rocks, blackberries, cassis, tobacco leaf, Asian black tea, and spice box. The wine is layered, rich, and pure, with full body, wonderfully sweet tannin, a judicious integration of acidity and wood, and a long finish. It promises to be drinkable at 2-3 years of age and last for 15 or more years.
