2003 Juslyn Perry's Blend 92 points
Last December, I mistakenly indicated the 2003s had been bottled, but in fact they were not bottled until April, 2006. The outstanding, more elegant 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyard Select exhibits excellent balance between its sweet tannin, heady glycerin, and concentrated, finesse-styled palate. Black currant, tobacco leaf, smoke, and pain grille characteristics are found in this delicious Cabernet. Enjoy it now or cellar it for 14-15 years.

2003 Juslyn Perry's Blend Rating: 90 points
The 2003 Perry's Blend, which is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot, has an intriguing white chocolate-scented nose intermixed with blue and black fruits, spicy oak, a hint of licorice, and attractive, medium-bodied flavors with no hard edges. This was a tough vintage to deal with, I suspect, but the tannins are silky and the wine beautifully balanced. It should be drinkable upon release, yet evolve for at least 10-12 years.

2003 Juslyn Perry's Blend Rating: (90-92) points
The 2003 Perry's Blend is a dark ruby/purple-colored, elegant effort offering sweet cassis fruit intermixed with kirsch, smoke, vanilla, and earth. Medium to full-bodied and forward, it will drink well for a decade.
